How to fit a kayak Fish-Bag

Why use a Fluid Bamba fish storage bag

The Fluid Bamba fish storage bag is a high volume bag that can be used for storing fish safe and secure on the rear deck.  Fish is kept cool with the water surging in and out of the 4 scupper drain holes and the black shade cloth providing ample shade to protect the fresh fish from the sun.  The bag is also used for the storage of gear.

The main benefit of  weight distribution to the rear deck is only realized once you get to the back-line to enter the surf zone in your attempt  to get back to the beach “upright”.   Weight at the rear enables the vessel to “ride” waves and foamies far easier, much like the skipper of a Ski Boat telling his crew to stand at the rear of the boat when entering the surf zone.  Imagine what happens to the slippery fish (hopefully 30 kilos of them) sliding to the front of the forward hatch once you catch a wave.  The sudden shift of extra weight to the front is a  guaranteed photo opportunity for the folks on the beach and a swim is guaranteed.

Fish can be stored in the forward hatch while fishing and be transferred to the fish bag on the rear deck just before you enter the surf zone if the surf is up.  The smelly bag can be washed and cleaned easily and  the inside of the hatch stays nice and clean.  It allows you time to fish more and swim less.
